He was apparently stationed at Camp Maxey, here in Lamar County, Texas, during at least part of his service.
Yuriko Lillian Takagaki was apparently incarcerated at Jerome Relocation Center which was partly in Chicot County. An email from the daughter of the couple stated that Even though they were married and he was serving in the army, he could not get his new wife out of the camp.
